Pastor Davis’s team took the stage a few minutes later, and his Word ministered to Lana in a way that she had never been ministered to before. She felt God's presence within her body, and she didn't know if it was because His was actually there, or if it was because she was so emotional. She settled on it being a little bit of both. Ree watched Lana at the corner of her eyes as tears began to fall from her friend’s eyes. She didn't know what it was that had happened to Lana to cause her mood to shift so suddenly, but she prayed that God would come into her friends life and fill her with the joy that she felt daily when she thought about God’s love.

When Pastor Davis called for prayer, Lana wanted to go up because she knew that she needed all the prayer that she could get, but she did not want to go up in front of all those people who she feared would judge her. Ree must've read her mind, because she looked over to her and nudged her, convincing her that everything would be okay and that she should go for prayer. Lana took her friend's advice and made her way past the people in the aisle, and was immediately ushered up to a person on the prayer committee. The old lady that she was led to, grabbed her by the hands and looked her in the eyes. When Lana's eyes met hers, the lady frowned slightly.

"Sweetie I don't know what has happened to you, but God is telling me that something deep is troubling your soul." The lady read her. Once again, Lana's tears began to flow. Before the lady began to pray for her, she called Leanne over. Leanne walked over, grabbed her by the hands, and when she looked up to connect eyes with Lana she brought her in for a hug without saying another word. Lana broke down even further, trying her hardest to keep it together in front of these people. She had never heard God talking to her before, but she knew that this was a direct sign from Him.

Leanne pulled away from the hug, "In the name of Jesus, I pray that you will be healed from all of your inflictions. If you have ever felt alone, or lived life hurting, I want you to know that it is not because He has left you, it is because you have left Him." Lana was overjoyed. Leanne had depicted her exactly as she was. She did feel alone, she did feel as though God had left her in her time of need several times throughout the course of her life. The two ladies brought Lana in to a group hug, and they collectively prayed for her, so passionately, and so deeply, that just from that prayer alone Lana walked away with a feeling of restoration, and protection that was unexplainable. When she got back to her seat, Ree grabbed her by the hand and squeezed tightly.
